These Terms govern Products and Services offered by InfinityOne through https://infinityinone.com and Official Channels published on the Website. This version applies to Orders placed after it is published on the Website. Orders placed before its publication continue to be governed by the version of the Terms published when the Order was placed.
This summary is intended to help Customers understand the principal transaction conditions. It does not replace the full Terms below.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms have the meanings set out below: “Company” or “we” means the merchant trading as InfinityOne and offering Products or Services through https://infinityinone.com and its Official Channels, including its successors and permitted assigns. “Customer” or “you” means a person who places an order with the Company through the Website or an Official Channel. “Website” means https://infinityinone.com and any other official website, page or application designated by the Company from time to time. “Official Channel” means the Website's online customer support, the Order Page, the Company’s official email address and other official contact channels published on the Website. “Product” means any digital product, right of use, facilitation service or other service offered by the Company on the Website. “Product Page” means the description, specifications, price, term, restrictions and other information for a particular Product on the Website, including information displayed during checkout. “Order” means a Customer's request to purchase a Product; “Order Page” or “Order Details” means the page displaying that Order's information on the Website. “Access Product” means a Product under which the Company grants a limited right to use an account, profile, seat or login credentials registered, held or managed by the Company or its designee. “Shared Plan” means an Access Product under which the Customer shares an account or its resources with other users. “Exclusive Plan” means an Access Product expressly described on the Product Page as an “exclusive account”, “individual account” or equivalent. “Facilitation Service” means a one-time subscription arrangement, payment, top-up, activation or similar service performed by the Company at the Customer's direction for a third-party platform account owned by the Customer. “Digital Code” means a redemption code, gift code, activation code, licence serial number, product key, download link or other electronic authorisation credential. “Third-Party Platform” means a third party providing the relevant service, software or content, including Netflix, Disney+, HBO, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Microsoft, Adobe, Canva, Apple and newspaper publishers. “Subscription Term” means the service or usage period stated on the Product Page. “Warranty Period” means the period during which the Company provides remedies free of charge for Warranty Events under Clause 10 (called the “maintenance period” in the previous terms). “Warranty Event” has the meaning given in Clause 10.4. “Successful Payment Time” means the time at which the Company or its payment service provider records successful payment by the Customer. “Business Day” means Monday to Friday, excluding Hong Kong public holidays and any day on which a tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. “In Writing” includes email and electronic messages sent through an Official Channel. “Valid Individual Agreement” means an individual written agreement meeting the requirements of Clause 13.4. “Refund Confirmation Email” means the formal refund confirmation email issued by the Company under Clause 11.6(c). “Secure Message Compartment” means a dedicated feature on the Website, separate from ordinary chat messages, for securely collecting sensitive information necessary to process an Order.
Headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation. “Including” means “including without limitation”. The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
These Terms comprise Part I (General Terms), Part II (Product Category Additional Terms) and the Schedules, and apply to all transactions for Products between the Customer and the Company.
If these documents are inconsistent, the following order of precedence applies, with the earlier item prevailing: (a) a Valid Individual Agreement; (b) product-specific information on the Product Page and in the Order confirmation; (c) the Product Category Additional Terms in Part II; and (d) the General Terms in Part I.
Each Order is governed by the version of these Terms published on the Website when the Customer places that Order. The Company may revise these Terms from time to time. A revised version takes effect upon publication on the Website and applies to subsequently placed Orders.
For Orders already formed but still being performed, the Company may amend arrangements as reasonably necessary because of legal or regulatory requirements, changes to Third-Party Platform terms or policies, account security, abuse prevention or other reasonable operational needs, provided that such amendments do not materially diminish the core benefits already paid for under the Order. Affected Customers will be notified through an Official Channel.
By placing an Order and completing payment, the Customer confirms having read, understood and agreed to these Terms, including the applicable Product Category Additional Terms and the conditions on the Product Page.
The Company operates independently as a digital goods retailer and facilitation service provider. Unless expressly stated on the Product Page, the Company is not the operator, agent, officially authorised reseller or partner of any Third-Party Platform, and makes no promises on behalf of any such platform. Third-Party Platform names and trademarks are used solely to identify the relevant Products and belong to their respective owners.
Products are classified into the following three types according to delivery and performance. The classification stated on each Product Page is definitive: (a) Access Products: the Company provides the agreed right of use throughout the Subscription Term and manages the account under these Terms; (b) Facilitation Services: the Company performs the specified subscription, payment, top-up or activation operation for the Order; and (c) Digital Codes: the Company delivers the agreed Digital Code to the Customer.
Completion of performance for each type of Product is defined as follows: (a) Access Products: the Company's obligation to supply access continues throughout the Subscription Term, subject to Clauses 10, 14 and 16; (b) Facilitation Services: the service is complete once the relevant subscription, payment or top-up entitlement appears successfully in the Customer's account, or the Third-Party Platform issues the corresponding success confirmation; (c) Digital Codes: delivery is complete when the Digital Code is delivered under Clause 7.2. The Company warrants that the code is valid on delivery and corresponds to the Product description.
After a Facilitation Service or Digital Code is completed under Clause 3.3, the service relationship between the Customer and the Third-Party Platform is governed by that platform's terms. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Company gives no guarantee concerning the subsequent continuity, features or policies of the Third-Party Platform's service.
The Customer represents and warrants that: (a) they are at least 18 years old, or have obtained a parent or legal guardian's consent and use the Product under their supervision; (b) the information provided is true, accurate and complete; (c) they are authorised to use their chosen payment method; and (d) they will not use a Product for any unlawful purpose.
Before payment, the Customer must read the Product Page and these Terms carefully and independently confirm that the Product meets their needs, including its version and licence type, supported devices and operating systems, installation and activation method, permitted users and devices, regional restrictions, account eligibility, shared or exclusive nature, Subscription Term and Warranty Period.
Included features, service entitlements, usage quotas and extras are limited to those expressly stated on the Product Page and in any Valid Individual Agreement. Other Third-Party Platform advertising, features introduced later, offerings with the same or related names, or the Customer's interpretation of a Product name do not constitute promises by the Company.
If the Customer has a specific requirement not expressly listed on the Product Page, they must enquire through an Official Channel and obtain written confirmation from the Company before payment.
This Clause 4 does not affect the Company's responsibility for the accuracy of Product Page descriptions or any rights of the Customer that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Placing an Order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when the Company accepts the Order, at the earliest of the Company issuing an Order confirmation, updating the Order status to “Processing”, or beginning performance.
Before delivery, the Company may reject or cancel an Order for any of the following reasons: the Product is out of stock or unavailable; an obvious pricing or information error on the Product Page; failure of transaction risk screening or identity verification; suspected fraud, unauthorised use of a payment instrument or breach of these Terms; or inability to perform owing to legal or regulatory requirements or Third-Party Platform restrictions. In such cases, the Company will refund the full amount paid without a handling fee and will have no further liability beyond that refund.
The Company may request reasonable identity or payment verification information from the Customer and may suspend processing the Order pending completion of verification.
Unless otherwise indicated, prices are in Hong Kong dollars (HKD) and are those shown on the Product Page when the Customer places the Order.
Payment must be made through a payment channel designated by the Company. Payment service providers' services are subject to their own terms.
Promotions, discounts and gifts are subject to their stated conditions and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Company may amend or discontinue a promotion where reasonable, without affecting Orders already formed.
Customers disputing a transaction should contact the Company first through an Official Channel. If a Customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute with a card issuer or payment platform without first following that procedure, the Company may suspend the service associated with the Order while the dispute is being handled. If the payment platform determines that the dispute is unfounded, or it is established that the Customer received the agreed Product or service, the Company may recover reasonable resulting costs (including dispute-handling charges imposed by the payment platform) and may decline future Orders from that Customer.
The Company delivers Products or related information through the Order Page, the Customer's registered email address or an Official Channel. Delivery times stated on Product Pages are estimates. Customers for whom delivery timing is important should enquire before payment.
Digital Codes, login credentials or activation information are deemed delivered when uploaded to the Order Page or sent to the Customer's registered email address.
Where a Product requires special confirmation before delivery (for example, a specific network environment or special activation process), the Company may withhold delivery until the Customer confirms in writing that they understand and can meet the requirements. The delivery time is correspondingly extended until confirmation.
Customers should check, log in, redeem or activate a Product promptly upon receipt. Any incorrect delivery, invalid code or login failure should be reported through an Official Channel within seven days after delivery, together with the Order number and supporting materials such as error screenshots. The Company will still investigate reports made later, but the Customer must provide reasonable evidence that the problem existed at delivery.
If the Company fails to deliver within the period stated on the Product Page (or, if none is stated, within a reasonable period), the Customer may cancel the Order and receive a full refund without any handling fee.
Some Products require the Customer to provide credentials, passwords, verification codes or other sensitive information for a Third-Party Platform (“Sensitive Information”). The Company will collect such information only through the Secure Message Compartment or another secure method designated by the Company. Customers should not send Sensitive Information through ordinary chat messages or undesignated channels.
The Company uses Sensitive Information only for operations necessary to complete the Order (including login, verification, activation, subscription, payment processing and after-sales checks) and will take reasonably practicable steps to protect it in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). The Company will delete the relevant Sensitive Information within 30 days after completion of the Order, unless otherwise required by law or necessary to resolve an outstanding dispute.
The Customer authorises the Company to log in to the relevant account and perform necessary operations on the Customer's behalf within the scope of Clause 8.2. The Company recommends that Customers change their passwords themselves after completion of the Order.
The Customer must: (a) provide accurate and valid information; (b) cooperate with two-factor authentication, identity verification or other necessary procedures within the time specified by the Company; and (c) ensure that their account is functional, unrestricted, active and free of outstanding payment issues with the Third-Party Platform.
A Third-Party Platform may require additional verification or temporarily restrict an account because of a login from another location, a new device or other security mechanisms. These are the platform's security measures and are outside the Company's control.
If an Order cannot be completed or is delayed because the Customer provides incorrect or expired information, fails or refuses to cooperate with required procedures, has a pre-existing account restriction, or for another reason outside the Company's reasonable control, the Company is not responsible for that failure or delay and may handle the Order under Clause 11, taking into account work done and costs incurred.
Clause 8.6 does not limit any liability the Company must bear under applicable law for failing to protect Sensitive Information properly or for its own operational errors.
Unless the Product Page expressly identifies an Exclusive Plan, all Access Products are Shared Plans. The Customer acknowledges that they will share the same account or its resources with others and agrees not to request a refund, exchange or compensation solely because they did not know or do not accept the shared nature after purchase.
The Customer receives only a limited, non-transferable right to use the specified service during the Subscription Term and in accordance with the Product Page and these Terms. This does not confer ownership, management rights or perpetual access to the account, or control of its registered email address, payment information or plan settings.
The account is registered, held or managed by the Company or its designee and is subject to the Third-Party Platform's terms. Those terms may restrict account sharing or use outside specified parameters, and the platform may consequently verify, restrict or disable the account. The Customer acknowledges these risks before purchase; they are addressed under Clauses 10 and 16.
The Company reserves the following account-management rights, the exercise of which does not constitute a breach: (a) updating passwords, PINs, login methods and other account information; (b) adjusting, reallocating or assigning Customer profiles or seats; (c) moving a Customer to another account on the same platform with the same or a comparable plan; and (d) taking other reasonable measures for account security, abuse prevention or responding to Third-Party Platform measures. Updated login credentials will be provided through the Order Page or an Official Channel. Loss of viewing history, preferences or profile data caused by an account transfer is not a service defect.
Unless the Company has given prior written authorisation, Customers must not: (a) change passwords, registered email addresses, phone numbers, PINs, profile names, avatars, languages, payment information, plans or any account settings; (b) enable, alter or remove two-factor authentication or other authentication methods; (c) log in or use the service simultaneously on more devices than the Product Page permits; (d) share, transfer, rent, resell or otherwise provide their right of use to any third party; (e) use, alter, delete or occupy any profile or data not assigned to them; (f) log out another user's device or otherwise disrupt another user's normal access; (g) attempt to gain control of the entire account or turn a shared seat into exclusive personal access; (h) circumvent the Company's usage limits, security measures or management arrangements; or (i) do anything that may cause the Third-Party Platform to review, restrict or disable the account.
If, after reasonable investigation, the Company believes that a Customer has breached Clause 9.5, it may, depending on the nature and seriousness of the breach: (a) issue a warning and require immediate correction; (b) suspend the Customer's right of use; and/or (c) terminate that right. For a breach of Clause 9.5(a), (b), (d), (f) or (g), or a repeat breach after a warning, the Company may suspend or terminate access immediately without prior notice.
If access is terminated under Clause 9.6, fees for the remaining Subscription Term will not be refunded. The Customer acknowledges that this reflects the Company's costs and losses in resetting accounts, restoring other shared users' access, responding to platform reviews and handling administration, and is a reasonable measure to protect other users and account security. The Company also reserves the right to recover actual losses beyond those described above.
Some profiles do not have a PIN or other lock. This is a normal feature of a Shared Plan, not a service defect or grounds for a refund.
The Company assesses breaches using objective evidence, such as account activity logs, Third-Party Platform notices, logged-in device records and reports from other shared users. Customers may contest a decision through an Official Channel within seven days of receiving notice, with supporting information.
The Subscription Term and Warranty Period are distinct. The Subscription Term is the Product's service or usage period; the Warranty Period is the time during which the Company provides free remedies for Warranty Events. A Subscription Term longer than the Warranty Period does not extend the latter.
Unless otherwise expressly stated on the Product Page, in Order Details or in a Valid Individual Agreement: (a) the standard Warranty Period is six months; (b) for Products with a Subscription Term of one to three months, the Warranty Period equals the Subscription Term; and (c) a 12-month Warranty Period applies only to designated Products expressly identified on their Product Pages. The “Warranty Expiry Date” shown in Order Details is the expiry date for the Order's Warranty Period. Customers with questions about this period should enquire before payment.
The Warranty Period starts at the Successful Payment Time, regardless of when the Customer first logs in, uses, installs, redeems or activates the Product. A different start time in a Valid Individual Agreement prevails.
A “Warranty Event” means any of the following occurring within the Warranty Period: (a) Access Products: despite the Customer complying with these Terms, the agreed service is unavailable because an account becomes invalid or disabled, a plan changes, or login credentials cease to work, and the Company cannot resolve this by providing updated credentials; (b) Facilitation Services: the agreed entitlement fails to take effect correctly because of the Company's operational error, incorrect information or other failure in performance; or (c) Digital Codes: a delivered code was already invalid or used at delivery, or did not match the Product description.
The following are not Warranty Events: (a) problems caused by the Customer's breach of these Terms, including Clause 9.5; (b) problems caused by the Customer's device, operating system, network, regional settings or account status; (c) failure to follow the Company's instructions; (d) normal account management under Clause 9.4 where updated information has been provided; (e) Third-Party Platform changes to content, features, libraries, video quality, quotas or interfaces; (f) after completion of a Facilitation Service or Digital Code under Clause 3.3, problems arising from platform policies, regional restrictions, account reviews or the Customer's eligibility, except as described in Clauses 10.4(b) and (c); (g) compatibility problems caused by software add-ons, third-party plugins or Customer-modified systems; and (h) problems arising from legacy versions no longer supported by the original provider.
If the Company verifies a Warranty Event, it will choose one or more of these remedies on a reasonable basis and within a reasonable time: (a) restore service or provide updated login credentials; (b) provide a replacement account, seat or code for the same or comparable plan on the same platform; (c) repeat the Facilitation Service; (d) extend the service period accordingly; or (e) issue a refund under Clause 11.8. If the Company cannot complete a remedy within 10 Business Days after receiving the Customer's complete report, the Customer may request a refund under Clause 11.8.
Providing a replacement account, seat or code does not restart or extend the original Warranty Period. Its warranty lasts only for the remainder of that original period.
Customers must submit warranty requests through an Official Channel within the Warranty Period, supplying their Order number, Successful Payment Time, problem description, error screenshots or other reasonable evidence, and cooperate with the Company's investigation.
Arrangements after the Warranty Period expires: (a) Facilitation Services and Digital Codes: the Company's performance obligations have been completed under Clause 3.3, and it has no further obligation to provide free replacements, repeat performance or refunds, although it may provide paid or complimentary assistance at its discretion. (b) Access Products: the Company continues to provide access for the remaining Subscription Term under these Terms. If, after the Warranty Period, service cannot continue for reasons not involving a breach by the Company (including platform policies, account reviews or enforcement measures) and account-management measures cannot restore it, the Company may either: (i) offer an alternative arrangement for a reasonable charge; or (ii) refund the unused remainder of the Subscription Term under Clause 11.8. If the Customer rejects the alternative under (i), the Company will proceed under (ii). To the extent permitted by law, these constitute the Customer's entire remedies in that situation. (c) Where a problem results from the Company's own breach of these Terms, the Company remains liable under these Terms and applicable law.
Any assistance, extension, compensation or exception provided outside the warranty coverage is a discretionary gesture of commercial goodwill, not a promise or precedent for the same Customer or anyone else in future.
The Customer acknowledges that Digital Codes, login credentials and completed Facilitation Services cannot be retrieved or resold once delivered or performed. Accordingly, Products already delivered or performed are non-refundable unless otherwise provided in this Clause 11.
Refunds required by law or due to the Company's responsibility. Customers are entitled to refunds without any handling fee in these circumstances: (a) the Company cancels the Order under Clause 5.2; (b) the Company fails to deliver under Clause 7.5; (c) a Warranty Event is verified and the Company fails to remedy it under Clause 10.6; (d) the delivered Product materially differs from its Product Page description and the Company cannot correct the discrepancy within a reasonable time; (e) an affected service is terminated under Clause 16.3; or (f) any other situation in which applicable law requires a refund. The amount refunded will be the full price or the unused portion calculated under Clause 11.8, as applicable.
Discretionary cancellation by the Customer. Customers have no right to a refund for personal reasons, including changing their mind, choosing the wrong version or plan, no longer needing the Product or failing to check compatibility beforehand. However, the Company may agree to cancellation at its discretion only if all of the following conditions are met: (a) the request is submitted through an Official Channel within 72 hours of the Successful Payment Time; (b) the Product has not been delivered; or, despite delivery, the Company verifies that the Digital Code or login credentials have not been viewed, redeemed, activated or used to log in, and can be retrieved or reused; and (c) none of the non-refundable circumstances in Clause 11.4 applies.
Except in the situations described in Clause 11.2, refunds are not available where: (a) a Facilitation Service has been completed under Clause 3.3(b); (b) a Digital Code has been viewed, copied, redeemed or activated, except for invalid codes described in Clause 10.4(c); (c) the login credentials for an Access Product have been viewed or used to log in; (d) access is terminated under Clause 9.6 or Clause 17; (e) the Customer cannot use a Product because of incorrect information they provided or failure to meet a Third-Party Platform's eligibility requirements, after the Company has performed as agreed; (f) the Product Page labels the Product “non-refundable” or “non-cancellable”; or (g) a discretionary cancellation request is made more than 72 hours after the Successful Payment Time.
Transaction and refund processing fees. (a) For cancellations accepted at the Company's discretion under Clause 11.3, the Company will deduct 10% to 15% of the original transaction amount as a transaction and refund processing fee. (b) This fee is charged by the Company to offset non-refundable original payment processing charges, refund and settlement costs, cross-border payment costs and the Company's administrative costs of handling the cancellation. It is not a separate charge imposed by the payment service provider. (c) The applicable rate depends on the Customer's payment method and transaction characteristics. Indicative rates appear in Schedule 1. The Refund Confirmation Email will state the rate and amount deducted. (d) This fee does not apply to refunds under Clause 11.2. (e) The Company may reduce or waive the fee in individual cases at its discretion. Any reduction or waiver does not create a commitment or precedent for other cases.
Refund procedure. (a) Customers must submit refund requests through an Official Channel with their Order number and supporting evidence. Submitting a request does not mean it has been approved. (b) The Company will review the request and may ask for further information. (c) If the Company accepts the request, it will send a Refund Confirmation Email to the Customer's registered address specifying the refund amount, any applicable processing fee and the refund method. Only this email constitutes formal confirmation of a refund. General customer-service replies, estimates and other informal statements do not constitute confirmation.
Refund processing timeframe. (a) The Company will complete its refund processing procedure by issuing a refund instruction to the payment service provider or bank within 21 Business Days after issuing the Refund Confirmation Email. This period begins when that email is sent, not when the Customer applies or first contacts customer service. (b) The time when the refund actually appears in the Customer's account depends on settlement procedures of banks, card issuers, e-wallets or payment service providers and is beyond the Company's control. (c) Unless otherwise agreed, refunds will be returned to the original payment method. If that method cannot receive a refund, the Company may use another reasonable method, and the Customer must provide the necessary information. (d) If the Customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute for the same transaction during refund processing, the Company may suspend the refund process until the dispute concludes to prevent duplicate payments.
Calculation of prorated refunds. Where these Terms require a prorated refund, the amount is calculated as follows: Refund amount = Price actually paid by the Customer for that Product × (Unused days remaining in the Subscription Term ÷ Total days in the Subscription Term) − Value of gifts received but not returned. Unused days are calculated from the date service was interrupted, being the earlier of the Customer's report date and the Company's verification date. Gift values are those stated on the Product Page. The refund amount cannot be less than zero.
Refund delays. (a) If processing has not been completed by the deadline under Clause 11.7(a), the Customer should notify the Company through official support or email and provide the Order number and Refund Confirmation Email. (b) On notification, the Company will prioritise investigation and complete the refund or update the Customer within a reasonable time. (c) To the extent permitted by law, if delays result from administrative oversights, system anomalies, verification, payment channels or bank processing, the Company's responsibility is limited to completing the confirmed refund. Such a delay does not constitute agreement to pay interest, compensation, punitive damages or amounts exceeding the confirmed refund. (d) This Clause 11.9 does not affect the Company's obligation to complete a confirmed refund.
The Company provides customer service through Website live support and email. Customer service is not an around-the-clock instant-response service.
The Company's response targets are: (a) Website online support: an initial reply generally within 48 hours; (b) email support: a reply generally within seven Business Days; and (c) cases involving information checks, internal investigations, coordination with Third-Party Platforms, payment disputes or other complex circumstances: a reply within up to 21 Business Days.
Customers who receive no reply within 48 hours of contacting Website online support may instead contact the Company through its official email.
These are service targets and may be affected by enquiry volume, public holidays, system outages, Third-Party Platform response times and case complexity. An initial reply does not mean that a problem has been resolved.
Customer-service response times are calculated independently of, and do not replace, the time limits in Clause 7 (Delivery), Clause 10 (Warranty) or Clause 11 (Refunds).
Missing a service response target does not mean that the Company accepts any request, complaint or claim, or entitle the Customer to a refund, compensation, free service or other additional benefits.
The Company may notify Customers via their registered email address, Order Page, Website announcements or official customer-service system.
Notices are deemed received at the following times: (a) email: when sent, unless the Company receives a delivery-failure notice; (b) Order Page or support system: when uploaded or sent; and (c) Website announcement: when published (for general notices only).
Customers must keep their email addresses and contact details accurate and current, and check their Order Pages and registered email regularly. They are responsible for consequences arising from incorrect contact information, failure to read notifications already sent or failure to report issues promptly.
Special arrangements between a Customer and the Company regarding the Warranty Period, start time, activation date, delivery method or other matters bind the Company as a Valid Individual Agreement only if all these conditions are met: (a) they are made in writing through an Official Channel; (b) the Company expressly confirms them, rather than their being merely the Customer's unilateral statement or understanding; (c) they are clear, specific and attributable to an identifiable Order; and (d) they can be verified in the Company's records.
General explanations, estimates, projected times, opinions or informal statements by support personnel, and any statements made through unofficial channels (including personal social-media accounts), do not constitute Valid Individual Agreements.
Third-Party Platforms may change their terms of service, features, content, prices, usage quotas, eligibility requirements, regional restrictions, account policies or availability at any time. The Company cannot control or reverse their decisions.
The Company's obligations are limited to what is expressly promised in these Terms and on the Product Page. They do not include guaranteeing that a Third-Party Platform will: (a) continue providing a service for any particular period; (b) maintain any feature, content or price; or (c) accept, approve or refrain from restricting a Customer's account.
The Customer acknowledges that each Third-Party Platform has its own terms and may verify, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts accordingly. Customers should familiarise themselves with the platform terms applicable to their own accounts.
Consequences of Third-Party Platform decisions are handled under Clauses 10, 11 and 16.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that the Company cannot lawfully exclude or restrict, including liability arising under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26), Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance (Cap. 457) and Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362). Liability for the Company's fraud is also not excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses; (b) loss of or damage to data, content, viewing histories or files; (c) business interruption or loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities or anticipated savings; or (d) loss caused by a Third-Party Platform's acts or omissions, except for remedies expressly provided in these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability for any Order, whether in contract, tort, misrepresentation or otherwise, is capped at the price actually paid by the Customer for that Order.
To the extent permitted by law, the remedies specified in these Terms, including Clauses 10 and 11, constitute the Customer's exclusive remedies for the relevant matter.
If the Product Page states that remote installation or technical assistance is provided by a third-party service provider, that service is also subject to the provider's terms. The Company will reasonably assist communications with the provider, and the Company's liability relating to that service is subject to Clause 15.3.
An “Event Beyond Control” means an event outside the Company's reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, terrorism, government acts or legal changes, internet controls, sanctions or trade restrictions, utility or telecommunications outages, Third-Party Platform server failures, and platform changes to terms, regional restrictions, account policies, enforcement measures or service availability.
While an Event Beyond Control continues, affected obligations of the Company are suspended and the Company is not liable for resulting delay or failure to perform. The Company will notify affected Customers where reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact.
If an Event Beyond Control interrupts an Access Product for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected service, and the Company will refund the unused remainder under Clause 11.8. No refund is available for Facilitation Services or Digital Codes already completed under Clause 3.3.
In the situation described in Clause 16.3, if a Customer chooses an account transfer, plan change or service reactivation instead of a refund, the Company may charge a reasonable additional fee and will disclose its amount beforehand.
The Company reserves the right to take necessary measures to maintain service security, prevent misuse, comply with law and Third-Party Platform requirements, and meet other reasonable operational needs, including verifying Customer identity, payment sources and usage.
If the Company reasonably believes a Customer has engaged in any of the following, it may suspend or cancel relevant Orders, suspend or terminate related services, reject future Orders and/or report the matter to relevant authorities: (a) providing false or misleading information; (b) fraud, misuse of payment instruments or other unlawful activity; (c) abuse of refund, warranty or chargeback procedures; (d) breach of these Terms that threatens accounts, other users or the Company's operations; or (e) harassment, threats or abusive conduct towards Company personnel.
If the Company terminates service for reasons in Clauses 17.2(a) to (d), remaining fees will not be refunded and Clause 9.7 also applies. If it terminates service for reasons under Clause 17.2(e), or for reasons other than Customer misconduct, it will refund the unused remainder under Clause 11.8.
The Website's content, design, logos and software belong to the Company or its licensors. Customers must not copy, modify or exploit them commercially without the Company's written consent.
Software, content and trademarks relating to Products belong to Third-Party Platforms or their respective rights holders. Customers must not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer or resell software without authorisation.
If a Customer breaches this Clause 18 or applicable licence terms and a third party consequently brings a claim against the Company, the Customer must indemnify the Company for reasonably incurred losses and legal costs.
The Company collects, uses and retains Customer personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and its Privacy Policy published on the Website. Handling of Sensitive Information is additionally governed by Clause 8.
No waiver: failure or delay by the Company in exercising a right does not waive that right. Any waiver must be in writing and applies only to the specific circumstances.
No precedent: an exception, discretionary refund, extra assistance or compensation provided for an individual Customer or Order does not establish a regular service standard or entitle any Customer to identical treatment.
Severability: if any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it applies to the maximum enforceable extent and the remaining provisions are unaffected.
Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Product Page, Order confirmation and any Valid Individual Agreement, constitute the parties' entire agreement concerning the transaction.
Assignment: a Customer may not assign their rights or obligations under these Terms. The Company may assign its rights and obligations to a successor to its business, provided that this does not diminish Customer rights.
Third-party rights: no person other than the Company and the Customer may enforce any provision of these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623).
Language: these Terms were drafted in Chinese. In case of any inconsistency between the Chinese version and a version in another language, the Chinese version prevails.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The parties agree first to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. Customers may submit complaints through an Official Channel, and the Company will handle them under Clause 12.
If negotiation fails, the Customer may seek assistance from the Consumer Council or pursue legal remedies, including bringing a claim in the Small Claims Tribunal.
Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
These additional terms supplement the General Terms in Part I and apply only to Products in the relevant category. Unless expressly provided otherwise in this Part, Part I continues to apply. The Digital Code handling principles in Categories G and H apply to all Products delivered by the Company as Digital Codes, regardless of their category.
Nature of Product: Unless expressly marked as an Exclusive Plan on the Product Page, streaming Products are Shared Plans under Clause 9 and are Access Products.
Device limit: Unless otherwise stated on the Product Page, each shared access right permits login and viewing on only one device. Customers must use the profile assigned by the Company.
Content and video quality: Available titles, libraries, subtitles, languages, picture quality and numbers of simultaneous streams may depend on the account's registered region, plan and platform policies. They may differ from official plans in the Customer's location and change at any time. The Company does not guarantee particular content or quality unless expressly promised on the Product Page.
Platform verification: Some streaming platforms use household-device verification, login codes or similar mechanisms. If verification is required, Customers must contact the Company through an Official Channel and follow its instructions. They must not alter account settings or take unauthorised actions. A brief interruption arising from platform verification is not a Warranty Event if the Company assists in resolving it within a reasonable time.
Account management: Under Clause 9.4, the Company may update credentials, reassign profiles or move Customers between accounts. Customers who cannot log in should check the latest Order Page information before contacting support.
Subscription Term and Warranty Period: For example, if a Product specifies a “12-month subscription” and a six-month Warranty Period, the remedies in Clause 10.6 apply during the first six months from the Successful Payment Time; the remaining six months are handled under Clause 10.9(b).
Breaches: Violations of Clause 9.5 or these additional terms are handled under Clauses 9.6 and 9.7.
Nature of Product: Newspaper subscriptions are Access Products and are Shared Plans unless the Product Page indicates otherwise. The Customer receives a limited right to use the specified news service during the Subscription Term, not ownership, perpetual access or independent administrative control of the newspaper account.
Credential updates: The Company may update login credentials without individually notifying the Customer in advance for account security, shared-account management, concurrent-login restrictions or other reasonable operational reasons. Updated credentials will be made available on the Order Page or through an Official Channel. Normal credential updates are not a breach or service interruption.
Customer responsibilities: Customers should regularly check the Order Page and Official Channels for the latest credentials. If login fails or a password expires, they should first check those credentials, then contact the Company through an Official Channel. Failure to receive an individual notification alone is not grounds for a refund or compensation.
Meaning of service interruption: An interruption arises only when the Customer has used the latest credentials and followed instructions, but the Company cannot provide working credentials within 3 Business Days after receiving a report. Clause 10 then applies. A failed login caused by failing to check updated information or using an outdated password is not a service interruption.
Concurrent logins: Newspaper platforms may limit the number of simultaneous devices, and another user's login may log out the Customer. This is normal for Shared Plans and is not a service defect.
Licence information: The Product Page will specify the licence type (such as an account-bound subscription, retail product key or legacy version), applicable version, supported operating systems and device count. The Product Page determines whether an offering is an Access Product, Facilitation Service or Digital Code.
Checks before purchase: Customers must verify the matters listed in Clause 4.2 before payment. They should enquire beforehand about technical details not stated on the Product Page. Discovering after purchase that a chosen version, licence type or operating system does not meet their needs is a discretionary cancellation under Clause 11.3, not a Warranty Event.
Misdescription: Material differences between a Product and its express Product Page description are handled under Clause 11.2(d).
Account-bound licensing: Where a licence is tied to an account, the Customer must provide account information, which is governed by Clause 8. The Customer must ensure the account is unrestricted and can receive verification codes.
Legacy versions: The original provider may no longer supply security updates or technical support for older versions. Customers acknowledge that they have assessed and assume these risks.
Scope of technical assistance: The Company's assistance is limited to licence activation issues, the original provider's standard installation instructions and referral to its support channels. Compatibility issues caused by Customer-modified systems, third-party plugins or add-ons are excluded.
Nature of Product: Unless otherwise stated on the Product Page, artificial intelligence Products are Facilitation Services, under which the Company arranges subscriptions, makes payments or carries out cross-region top-ups for accounts owned by Customers. The Company does not operate any AI platform. If the Product Page states that the Company supplies an account, the Product is an Access Product and Clause 9 applies.
Completion: A Facilitation Service is complete under Clause 3.3(b) when the subscription, payment or top-up entitlement appears in the Customer's account or the Third-Party Platform issues a success confirmation. Customers should log in and verify promptly after receiving notice of completion. The Company may retain screenshots showing that entitlements took effect as proof of performance.
Irreversibility: Once a subscription, payment or top-up has been completed, the Company generally cannot withdraw or cancel it or recover it from the Third-Party Platform. Customers acknowledge this before placing an Order.
Platform risks: AI platforms may impose or change restrictions relating to supported regions, account eligibility, payment methods, identity verification, usage quotas, model availability, features and charges, and may review, restrict or disable accounts. The Company cannot intervene in or reverse their decisions. After a Facilitation Service is completed, resulting limits or termination are not Warranty Events, and the Company is not obliged to refund, compensate or provide the service again for free.
Failure in the Company's performance: If a problem is caused by the Company's failure to complete the agreed transaction, selection of the wrong plan, incorrect activation information or another performance error by the Company, it is a Warranty Event under Clause 10.4(b) and will be addressed under Clause 10.6.
Special disclosure of Claude risks: Anthropic, the provider of Claude, publishes a list of countries and regions where its services are supported and restricts use outside those regions in its terms. Customers should consult Anthropic's latest supported-region list before purchasing. The Customer acknowledges that: (a) if they are located in or use the service from an unsupported region (including circumstances potentially affecting Hong Kong users), or their payment and identity details do not match the account region, the account may be reviewed, service may be restricted, the subscription may become unusable or the account may be permanently disabled; (b) these risks can arise at any time after the subscription takes effect; (c) the Company cannot control or reverse Anthropic's decisions; and (d) the Customer independently chooses to purchase despite being fully informed of these risks. Consequences of these risks after completion of the Facilitation Service are dealt with under Clause D4.
Gemini subscription facilitation: (a) The Company provides subscription arrangement or payment services for the official Gemini service and does not operate the Gemini platform. (b) Google reserves the right to change Gemini's terms, features, content, eligibility, regional restrictions and pricing model. (c) If the Customer already has an active Google/Gemini subscription, the effective date of the new plan may depend on the existing subscription. If the Customer elects to receive the new plan's activation details early, they acknowledge that activation may have to wait until the existing subscription ends. Inability to activate during that period is not a breach or Warranty Event by the Company. (d) After-sales assistance for Gemini is limited to issues involving the Company's activation information, payment processing or actual performance, as described in Clause D5.
Scope of features (including SuperGrok): Only features and entitlements expressly listed on the Product Page are included. For example, Grok Bot or another specified feature is not part of a SuperGrok Product unless the Product Page expressly states that it is supported. New Third-Party Platform features, subsequent plan adjustments and separately charged extras do not constitute promises that the Company will provide them free of charge. This principle applies to all AI Products.
Usage quotas: AI platforms may limit message counts, model access or other use and may adjust limits at any time. Changes to usage quotas are not service defects.
Plan information: The Product Page will identify the plan type (such as an education, team or individual plan), licensing method, device limits and eligibility requirements.
Eligibility: For an education or other eligibility-restricted plan, the Customer confirms that they meet the requirements specified on the Product Page and will complete any verification required by the Third-Party Platform. The Customer bears the consequences of restricted service arising from ineligibility or failed verification.
Platform changes: Third-Party Platforms may change educational discounts, membership qualifications, features, licence conditions, device limits or subscription arrangements. Where the change is not caused by the Company's breach of these Terms, Clauses 10 and 16 apply.
Activation requirements: If a Product must be activated in a particular region, network environment (including use of a VPN) or by a special procedure, the Company will explain the requirements and provide instructions on the Product Page and before delivery.
Confirmation before delivery: For Products described in Clause F1, the Company may arrange delivery only after the Customer confirms in writing that they have read and can meet the requirements. Clause 7.3 applies.
Customer responsibilities: Customers must check before payment that their device, operating system, network environment and intended use meet the requirements. If complete and accurate instructions have been supplied, failure to activate because of unmet disclosed conditions, operational errors or network restrictions is not a Warranty Event.
Licence risks: Activation through a VPN or across regions may be subject to the software supplier's licence terms and the laws of the Customer's location. The supplier may restrict or revoke the licence as a result. Customers acknowledge and accept this risk; however, if revocation results from a problem inherent in the code, Clause 10.4(c) applies.
The Company does not guarantee that Products subject to regional or technical restrictions can be activated successfully in every environment.
Nature of Product: Products in the Apple category are Digital Codes; Clause 11.1 applies.
Region and account: Apple redemption codes, gift cards and related codes generally can be redeemed only in Apple accounts registered in a specified region. Customers must check before purchase that the account region matches the region indicated on the Product Page.
Handling of different situations is shown in the table below.
| Situation | Treatment |
|---|---|
| Code already invalid or used at delivery, or denomination differs from the description | Warranty Event; replacement or refund under Clause 10.6 |
| The Company delivered the wrong code or denomination | The Company corrects the error; if correction is impossible, a full refund without a handling fee |
| Apple revokes a code or restricts an account because of the code’s source or an issue inherent in the code | Treated as an invalid code and handled as a Warranty Event |
| The Customer’s account region does not match the code’s region | Customer’s responsibility; no refund or replacement |
| The Customer redeems a code into the wrong account | Customer’s responsibility; no refund or replacement |
| After viewing or redeeming a code, the Customer changes their mind or no longer needs it | No refund or replacement |
| Apple restricts the account because of the Customer’s account status, payment history or other reasons unrelated to the code | Customer’s responsibility; no refund or replacement |
Code security: Customers must keep delivered codes secure. Once a code has been viewed, the Customer bears the risk of loss, leakage or use by another person.
Nature of Product: System activation Products are Digital Codes; Clause 11.1 and the handling principles in Clause G3 also apply.
Version and compatibility: Customers must verify that the purchased key matches their operating system edition (for example, Home or Pro), language and architecture.
Hardware changes: Some licence types are bound to device hardware. Replacing major components, such as a motherboard, may require reactivation or prevent further use. This is not a Warranty Event.
Allocation of responsibility: Invalid or previously used codes or incorrect delivery by the Company are handled under Clause 10.6. Failure caused by buying the wrong edition, device incompatibility or not following the supplied instructions is the Customer's responsibility and does not qualify for a refund or replacement.
